Berlin, Germany
Bloomfeld probes innovative momentums across the fringes of culture. Connecting the dots between hedonistic club heat and spiritually resonant ethno-futurism, he both invites heads to over-intellectualise and reveals what comes out the speakers, at its essence, as just wiggly air.
Alongside being part of the collective “DRY” – known for their experimental club nights at Tresor that have become a crucial fixture in Berlin – Bloomfeld runs the Overthinker Mob research imprint, which among many other missions is recognized for “rejecting conventional formats for releasing music“ (FACT Mag) by „putting out unfinished or “overthought” music from artists anonymously“ (Resident Advisor) – Compiling „a diverse range of anti-ego club tunes and somber atmospheres“ (Electronic Beats).
Bloomfeld co-founded several community radio initiatives in Germany and the UK and hosted the “Culture vs. Reality” show during his residency on Rinse FM.
